PILATES STUDIO – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please Read Carefully

At our Pilates Studio, we are committed to providing a fair and consistent experience for all clients. Please review the following terms and conditions before booking or attending classes.


1. CANCELLATION POLICY

Our cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. As we have not raised our prices for six years, clients were given a choice between a price increase or a stricter cancellation policy. The majority chose the latter.

  • All classes cancelled within 24 hours will be charged in full, unless you complete a make-up class in the same week (subject to availability).

  • The 24-hour notice period for cancellations will be strictly enforced.


2. TIME LIMITS

  • 10-session packages are valid for 10 weeks.

  • 20-session packages are valid for 12 weeks.

  • Time limits will be enforced strictly, including during school holidays or instructor absences.


3. RENEWALS

  • Please renew your session payments before your last session to maintain your discounted rate.

  • Renewals made after your last session will incur an additional fee of $50.


4. MEDICAL REASONS

  • If you are unable to complete a make-up class in the same week due to medical reasons, a medical certificate will be required.

  • For medical absences lasting longer than four weeks, please inform the instructor. You may need to attend a private session before returning, and a medical certificate may be required to hold or resume your sessions.


5. TRANSFERABILITY

Sessions are non-transferable, except to immediate family members.


6. REFUNDS

For cancellations or discontinuation of classes:

  • Refunds will be calculated based on all completed sessions at a single session rate of $60.00, plus an administration fee of $50.00.

  • Any remaining balance will be refunded accordingly.


7. DELAYED PAYMENTS

Part or delayed payments will incur a charge of $30.00 per week (or part thereof) until the full amount has been paid.


8. STUDIO ETIQUETTE

We welcome clients of varying abilities and ask that everyone show consideration for others at all times.

  • Clients who display loud, disruptive, or disrespectful behavior may be asked to leave.

  • No refunds will be provided in such cases.


9. CLEAN SOCKS

Clean socks must be worn at all times.

  • For health and hygiene reasons, clients without clean socks will not be permitted to place feet in straps.


10. FEEDBACK & SAFETY

Your safety and comfort are our top priority.
If, at any time, you feel uncomfortable with any exercise, please stop immediately and inform your instructor — especially if:

  • You experience pain, discomfort, or strain in any area of your body.

  • You notice any unusual twinges or stress in your back or joints.


11. INSTRUCTION

Clients must only perform exercises that have been demonstrated by a certified instructor.
Do not attempt exercises shown by any other person.


12. MEDICAL ABSENCE & INJURY

If you sustain an injury or experience a medical issue during your time away:

  • Inform your instructor before returning.

  • A private assessment session may be required to ensure the safety and suitability of your program.

  • A medical certificate may be requested to confirm your condition.
